From the vineyards of Carignano planted as trees in the coastal area between Capo Teulada and the Iglesiente mountain chain. The nose residual vinous aromas accompany large emerging from a light fruity notes of good wood subfloor. Warm and generous offers to the palate sensations of soft tannins, ripe fruit in late autumn, and a light presence of good oak. You drink with white and red meat, game and matured cheeses.
VARIETY: Carignano, renowned red grape of the Mediterranean basin long introduction and acclimatization in particular Sardinian environment.
PRODUCTION AREA: vineyards planted as trees sulcitana in the South-Western coast of Sarde-gna between Capo Teulada and the Iglesiente mountain chain.
HARVEST: first week of October.
VINIFICATION: after crushing, immediate start of the fermentation in the presence of the marc, at a temperature of 30 ° C and for the duration of 10-15 days. The rapid conclusion of the tumultuous fermentation follows a phase of slow completion of the same accompanied by malolactic.
COLOUR: intense ruby red with intermittent perceptions of some purple tones.
BOUQUET: vinous residual scents accompany large emerging from a light fruity notes of good wood subfloor.
TASTE: warm and generous offers to the palate sensations of soft tannins, ripe fruit in late autumn, linked by a thin presence of good oak.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5% vol.
HERITAGE ACID: 5.5 g / l with good component of soft acids resulting from a full and complete malolactic fermentation.
AGING: long aging conducted for at least three years, initially in barrels and then bottled.
HOW TO SERVE: at a temperature of 16-18 ° C preferably oxygenated in a decanter before serving.
