Made from a careful selection of Cannonau grapes and a few other prestigious black grapes, in the vineyard. Our wine "Maoro" ruby red color, superb, unmistakable personality, embodies the tradition of local wine and reflects the characteristics and prestige of its territory, charming, caring and generous.
Our wines come from grapes produced exclusively in the family estate, from vines planted in 1979. The harvest is manual, performed in the last week of September. The wine is made using traditional local ways, with a careful selection of the grapes, fermentation is natural, with a maceration of 10-12 days, with a good use of the technique of "Delestage."
Soft pressing of the 60/65%
The wine is light aging to give it the right typical organoleptic characteristics. The final refinement takes place in the bottle and the wine expresses its best characteristics after aging for at least 6-12 months.
It is stored in an environment with constant temperature and light controlled, the alcohol content of our wine varies accordingly to the year of production 14.5% vol.
The wine does not undergo any type of filtration to preserve the original flavors and aromas typical of the variety, so possible residuals in the bottle are completely natural. Our wine goes well with pasta dishes with sauces bodied, ideal for red meats, cold cuts and cheeses.
