The farm of Joseph Gabbas covers an area of about 30 hectares, of which 20 are vineyards and 5 olive trees, at an altitude between 240m and 350m above sea level in a valley at the feet of Supramonte, in the heart of Sardinia, ten km. from Nuoro, the capital of Barbagia. Deep soils of granitic origin and sufficiently permeable to retain some moisture even during periods of prolonged drought.
The unique climate of the area, influenced by the temperate breezes coming from the sea, which is little more than twenty miles, and the proximity of mountains provide a good temperature range, with positive effects on color and flavor profile of the grapes. This promotes an ecosystem ideal for the screw, reducing, inter alia, pesticide treatments, performed only with traditional products.

The grape is grown mainly Cannonau, to which were added other local varieties, selected among the most interesting of the rich wine of Sardinia.
This small and dynamic production reality in an area particularly suited to the cultivation of the vine is always able to give their best, giving the wine traits of elegance and territoriality elsewhere are difficult to reach.
